Guy Fieri has absolutely mastered the art of bringing his own personal flavor to Twitter.
In 2019, the Mayor of Flavortown really found his groove on social media. When he isn’t promoting his various Food Network shows, he’s taken to sharing hilarious Photoshop creations and timely memes about himself with his 3.4 million Twitter followers.
Does he make these memes himself? Do his sons take creative control? Who is Guy Fieri’s social media manager? We have so many questions.
While we await a dream interview with the mastermind behind Guy’s memes, we thought we’d take some time to celebrate his flamin’ hot online presence. Here are 27 of Fieri’s best 2019 tweets.
1. The “Flavor Town Road” request
Who could forget that charming time Fieri asked Lil Nas X if he’d be down to collaborate on an “Old Town Road” remix called “Flavor Town Road.” He even made a fake “Panini” album cover to entice the rapper. We’re still waiting, guys.
2. Guy on Netflix
In June, Fieri shared a meme of himself starring in a Making a Murder parody called Making a Hamburger. What do you think, Netflix?
3. Flip-flop flavor
Fieri also shared an image of a strange “flip-flop sandwich,” which turned out to be a reference to one of his many unique turns of phrase. According to Guy, putting something on a “flip flop” simply means it tastes great.
4. A Toy Story cameo
A Guy Fieri crossover with Toy Story was not something the world necessarily needed, but here it is.
5. A Spider-Man parody
Guy had to get in on all of the Spider-Man: Far From Home discussions somehow. Behold: “Far From Flavortown.”
6. The culinary justice system
And he doesn’t solely limit himself to movies. Guy does TV show parodies, like Law & Order: Flavortown, too. #DUNDUN
In the culinary justice system, taste-based offenses are considered especially heinous. In Flavortown, the one dedicated detective who investigates bland food is the leader of an elite squad known as the Sketchy Chef Unit. 7. Area 51 eats
You may have thought Area 51 would be a difficult trend for Guy to get in on, but he always finds a way. In this case, he cooked up some “Radioactive Ribs” for the aliens. How kind.
8. An old Guy
Mashable once said it wasn’t a great idea to use the viral aging photo app, FaceApp, because of privacy issues, but Guy didn’t want any FOMO so he aged himself anyway.
9. The Guy-on King
Wired: Simba with Guy Fieri hair, sunglasses, a wrist band, and a burger in-hand.
10. Once upon a time in…
Hollywood? We don’t know her. The real star power hails from Flavortown. Here’s hoping Guy will one day star alongside big names like Brad Pitt or Leonardo DiCaprio. That’s money.
11. Looking for: other
He’s just a Guy, standing in front of a camera, asking America to roll out lookin’ for the greatest diners, drive-ins, and dives.
12. A Guy in space
Ever wonder what Guy would look like if he’d made another career choice? Turns out, pretty similar. He’d just be wearing a space suit.
13. We scream for memes
Guy’s Twitter memes know no bounds. When there’s a lull in trending memes, Guy’s team doesn’t wait for new ones. They make their own, like the time they photoshopped Guy’s face onto Edvard Munch’s famous composition, “The Scream.”
14. Franchise Fieri
The Matrix 4 is expected in 2022, and Guy can hardly wait. Neo, do you believe in flavor? We have to know.
15. El Camino, but make it Guy
The Breaking Bad movie, El Camino, inspired yet another Guy parody, ’68 Camaro. Sure, Walter White could cook. But Guy Fieri can, like, really cook.
16. Super Fierio
Guy isn’t one to let a holiday pass him by without celebrating, so on National Video Games Day he was sure to create a cute little animated version of himself in a Super Mario world.
17. Welcome to Flavorton
We’re not sure if Guy is actually a Downton Abbey fan, or if he simply can’t pass up the opportunity to add the word “flavor” to the front of anything resembling the word “town.” Either way, he gave Twitter this masterpiece.
18. Adding even more flavor
In this case, Guy reached a little too hard to work “flavor” into the conversation, but he really wanted to celebrate Back to the Future, so how can we be mad?
19. Some 1993 magic
What’s better than watching the iconic 1993 film Hocus Pocus around Halloween? Watching Hocus Pocus and having Guy Fieri Photoshop his face onto all three witchy sisters.
20. The only other streaming service we’ll accept
There are too many streaming services in the world, but we might be OK with one more if it was Fieri+ and featured Guy Fieri versions of all our favorite characters.
21. Even the Kardashians are Fieri fans
In November, Guy tweeted a #TripleDFriday meme and got the attention of Rob Kardashian, who proceeded to dub Fridays “The best day.” Fieri then responded to the Kardashian brother with a Keeping up with the Fieris meme and said that Sundays, the days reserved for new Keeping Up with the Kardashians episodes, aren’t too bad either. Brothers!
22. Rollin’ out to Bikini Bottom
Did you catch the episode when Guy visits SpongeBob down at the Krusty Krab? Me either, but I need it. How he breathes down there is unclear, but the ’68 boatmobile looks great.
23. We’re thankful for Guy
Thanksgiving is a food-centric holiday, so you know it must hold a special place in Guy’s heart. He celebrated the big day with two posts, the first of which was this charming take on A Charlie Brown Thanksgiving.
Guy took a less traditional approach for his second Thanksgiving Photoshop and paid a lovely tribute to Seinfeld.
25. He’s baby (Yoda)
Guy’s best online collaboration of 2019 without a doubt goes to his Baby Yoda tweets. The first tweet imagines Baby Yoda with Guy’s spiky platinum hair, goatee, and backwards sunglasses. It’s an iconic style on an adorable model.
26. Guy loves him some famous art
Guy rarely strays from a pop culture Photoshop, but when he does, it’s to put his present-day twist on a classic work of art, like “The Scream.” Here, he transforms Michelangelo’s “The Creation of Adam” into “The Creation of Flavor.”
27. Guy’s best tweet of 2019
Guy’s second Baby Yoda meme is some real chef’s kiss material. He not only inserted audio of the Diners, Drive-Ins, and Dives intro into The Mandalorian scene where Baby Yoda is seen pushing buttons in the cockpit of a ship, he also presented his meme using yet another popular meme. An absolute king.
All in all, what a guy. We can’t wait to see the fiery Fieri memes that await us in 2020.
